Monday Afternoon/EveningA really good
Path of Achra stream today. And
Keitaro87 dropped by, where we talked about Dungeons & Dragons Pinball for a while (not a fan of the new table. I love the old one though). And
og_PowerFantastic swung by for a while as well.
But as for the runnin' itself it went pretty good. I went all the way on a "
Hazmat Myrmidon" character that's kind of a FF XIV warrior that deals fire and acid (acid = lowers target's defense stats and causes them to take extra fire damage when they attack, or are being attacked) damage. This one was carried by its equipment, and less by the character itself. I'm surprised it worked. Otherwise, the rest of the sesh was a bunch of failed runs, some of which didn't even make it out of the gate lol. And most likely there won't be a Pinball stream tonight, not wanting to make the same mistake as
yesterday.
TuesdayNo Pinball stream this morning. Hands are still pretty stiff & fizzy, and I'm also trying to avoid making the same mistake I made yesterday. Trying to keep my Gung-Ho in check. So, instead, I'll probably just do what I did yesterday morning, continuing to watch the
AVGN documentary that I started on yesterday, as well as some episodes (probably the older ones, where he's still a one-man operation, and not hiring people to do it all for him. Or the ones where he does fan requests, a bit of a turn-off for me).
Or, instead,.....One of the YouTube comments on that video was "Minecraft with Gadget was the first Vtuber video" which, while
TECHNICALLY isn't true, it still blew my mind. (
Kizuna AI is usually considered the first Vtuber FWIW). Eventually someone else mentioned Max Headroom, a show that I only saw little tiny bits and pieces of back in the 1980s. So, totally intrigued by this, I went ahead and took a gamble and bought the first season. Not what I expected. I was expecting it to be
ALL Max Headroom. At least so far, it's live-action stuff, no Max at all. Gonna keep watching this though, hopefully all the way until I have to lay down.
And it
WAS going to be another PoA stream, but
Vampire Crawlers came out with a new update, so I called an audible and streamed that instead. Pretty good, you can sort your cards now. And there's an "endless" mode. But in actuality it's a loop mode, just repeating the same area over and over, albeit with higher and higher enemy stats. Oh, and
DrDoobee came by to check it out as well. And chances are pretty good that there won't be another Pinball stream tonight, as my hands were in pretty rough shape again after doing an almost 4 hour stream.................
Wednesday..........Sooooooo, with that, I just picked up where I left off on Max Headroom, continuing to watch this first season. I've started watching his other TV commercial/movie/doc/essay stuff as well. Oh, and I'm currently on the 4th episode. So far, Max pretty much plays a minor role in the show. They should've just named the show "Cyberpunk 1985" lol. And
OH! I'm still watching a bit more of the AVGN doc, but it's pretty much taken a backseat for the time being.
But, otherwise, it's been a pretty good weekend overall.
