D'stud Tia, cub of D’alozeer Nunh and D’ruutana Mahn, lived in the Sagolii Desert with his small clan playing with the other cubs while his mother hunted with the other huntresses. D’stud enjoyed venturing out and messing with the dune anglers at night. One night young D’stud ventured out to see the fire sprites before a sandstorm arrived, but his little trip stopped when he heard echoes of a blood curdling scream...
He ran! He ran as fast as he could, it was the sound of one of his clan! When he arrive to the camp he saw his mother, lifeless, along with other huntresses and Amalj’aa. “They ambushed us!” he thought as he entered his father’s resting area, he saw his father lay there mortally wounded, 7 lifeless Amalj'aa laid on the floor with him, with his blade thrust through one's eye. He pulled the blade out of the Amalj'aa's head and handed it to D’stud saying, “You arrre now Nunh...save what‘s left of yourr clan...” He signaled D’stud in the direction of the cries leading out the towards the desert, with the wind kicking sand he could only rely on the faint cries. "D’stud will kill theese Amalj'aa" he kept telling himself rushing until the cries stopped. Fearing the worst the panicked Miqo’te ran blindly in the direction of the last cry until he tripped over the body of D‘tylua...
Shaking with sadness and anger upon seeing her mutilated body, D’stud screams out. Suddenly 3 Amalj'aa appear one saying, "a surviving male... we should kill him qui-", his words stopped as D’alozeer's blade entered his opponent's throat. "Two morrre," D’stud hissed, suddenly realized blood leaking from his right eye. The remaining Amalj'aa laughed as one said, “you just tripped over your last clan member.” D’stud knew he was lucky with the kill, and knew that he will get killed if he lost his focus. Remembering his clan he readied himself and the sounds of steel rang with the rushing winds...
Amalj’aa blood stained the sand in that battle and left D’stud with few wounds, he had no clan to return to, no home to make as his, so he buried his clan and left the dead Amalj‘aa to rot. He traveled towards Gridania, he decided that he no longer needed Nunh, he had no clan, and so he decided to change it remembering a plant he always found calming...
Thus Catnip D’stud was reborn...
