Born in a small village deep in Coerthas Western Highland region some 27 years ago to a family of a fisherwoman and a lumberjack, Felix lived his early life along his parents and an older sister in a harsh environment of a highland forest, hunting small game and fishing. When he was around 15 years of age, he's enrolled in the village's militia force, protecting his humble home from all manners of highland predators.

On the cusp of his adulthood, his ventures mostly took him around Coerhtas and lower Dravanian territories, seeing little reason to venture to the outside world. Despite his origins and combat prowess, Felix never had much interest in Ishgard and its ways and decided against following his older sister's footsteps and conscripting into the Temple Knights forces. Born under Oschon's blessing, he's always been a soul longing for the freedom of adventure, wary of religious zealotry, strict rules and burdens that come with knighthood.

However, during the events of Seventh Umbral Calamity, a blizzard of massive proportions came to the region, burying everything under a thick layer of snow and ice; losing his family in the process, he was among the few survivors of those calamitous events. In their aftermath, he's left Coerthas for free-spirited La Noscea, yet never stays in one place for long, his adventure-seeking spirit taking him all over Eorzea and beyond.

Felix sees no reason for proper etiquette, and despite being thrilled about the prospect of fighting worthy opponents and oppressing forces, holds no blind respect for neither politicians nor war heroes.
He's not a very bright or quick-witted person, and has received only basic education. However, he's quite skilled in smithing, cooking and prospecting trades, and is overall an earnest, empathetic and well-meaning man, albeit somewhat rude and clumsy, and with obvious commitment issues to people and places.

His favourite food is almond cream croissant; his other preferences are unknown.
