Inspired by tales of the Elezen as a child, Maera dreamed of becoming the greatest, and first, archer of her family line. Unfortunately, the Fates had a different tale in mind for her: that of manipulating Aether. Displaying a surprising aptitude, Maera has since exceled at all Magic Disciplines (even achieving the title Archmage to her peers), and continues to strive for perfection in that field.

Now, though she has finally realized her dream of becoming a Bard, she has also resigned herself to the fact that her affinity (and affection) lie in the field of magic; specifically, Summon magicks. Currently on a quest to unlock the legendary Ramuh-egi, she has dedicated herself to discovering the quintessential pattern to annihilate her enemies and avenge her fallen friends.
