Originally from the world of Vana'diel, Hoshino was a Mithra born in the ancient forests of Elshimo who eventually made her way to the nation of Bastok in order to hone her skills in Alchemy. Hoshino also had a strong sense of adventure. This passion caused her path to cross with that of Mythril Musketeer and Samurai Ayame. As a result, Hoshino's goals shifted to traveling to Norg where Ayame informed her of the ways of the Ninja. Hoshino mastered these Ninjutsu arts and went on to protecting the world of Vana'diel from all of its perils. A few years later, a nomad moogle informed Hoshino of a whole new and distant world where she could further fulfill her passion for adventure. This world was named Eorzea. Hoshino made her way to this new land and arrived at the nation of Uldah. She made a few changes in order to adapt to this new world. "I must suppress my ninjutsu in order blend in and learn the ways of this land". That being said, Hoshino picked up the path of the Pugilist and added the name "Kikosen" to her name as an homage to her treasured Kikoku blade. Hoshino Kikosen now travels through the lands of Eorzea in hopes of finding new adventures.
