Khisa hails from a small village in the northern reaches of Aldenard. As the events heralding the 7th Umbral Era began, she began a journey south to learn the fate her older sister Leilah whose once frequent letters had stopped arriving. She set out under the eerie light of the lesser moon Dalamud, now hanging ominously low in sky. It was but a few weeks into her journey that fire began to rain down as the moon cracked open, freeing the legendary primal Bahamut.

Having the heart of a scholar not a warrior, her courage faltered in the face of such devestation and she turned northward to return home once again. However she found the land she passed through much changed and became lost, wandering for many moons before she would allow herself to admit that her home, her friends, and her family were gone without so much as even a trace remaining. With the coming spring and no other path before her, she again turned south to find her sister.

As she traveled, she found much sorrow along the way, and having a kind heart, she found herself stopping to give what aid as she could. While this slowed her travels, she never stayed too long in one place. Thoughts of her sister and the dream of finding her again were always first in her heart.
