My name is Aeora, at least, that's all I can remember people ever calling me. I can't really say that Gridania is my home cause I only found my way there after the calamity. Before the calamity I. . I can't remember exactly what I was doing, who I was or where I'd been. I have a brief vision of a life I had once before, traversing the upper lands of LaNoscea. The only thing I found with me when I awoke was a single white egglike stone that whispered a soothing tune, I was bound by the gift of healing.

There is a time, when I watch the pains of companions vanish, that I feel I have found my purpose, my sense of being, but this wasn't enough... I never found my true self.

A name stays with me, Aljipenu, where could he be...

I stand now in Eorzea, without past, without fear and without fault. Determination to discover myself once more courses throughout my being. But, I understand to truly understand myself, my purpose, I will need to surrender to my inner darkness. Curing the ailments of others forever will not cure the emptiness in my being.
