As a youth, I spent my days in pursuit of fame and valor in battle. Age however, brings both temperance, and perspective. As my pilgrimage from hamlet to kingdom has taught me, it is the least among us with the most to lose! It is we, the privileged, who bear the onus of the downtrodden!

Our blades, which smite the hand of the oppressor!

Our shields, which turn aside the barbs flung from on-high!

As I travel these gravely wounded fields of Eorzea, I see not the disparity of her nations as a curse unbound by the Primals, but a challenge to us all! Join me! Together, we can put aside petty rivalries of old! Together, we can rebuild our ailing lands! Together, we can wipe away the tears left by the cataclysm, and replace its bleak omen with a future of prosperity!
