Kiaria is from a distant town on the edge of Eorzea, and was 15 when the battle of Carteneau took place. Her parents fought under the banner of the Immortal Flames, but unfortunately, they never returned home. Kiaria was training to be a fighter already, however, after the events of Carteneau, she swore she would do anything she could to prevent anyone from experiencing the same loss she suffered. She trained to become a gladiator, willingly taking hits so her allies don't need to. She came to Ul'dah with the ultimate goal of joining the Immortal Flames like her parents before her, when she got swept up in a conflict she never expected.

Despite all that she's faced, she still greets everyone she meets with a smile, and tries her best to be a source of positivity to those around her. Even her closest friends don't know the true depth of her past, and only her kinsmen from her home town know the truth. Her smile hides a thousand scars.
