Born and raised in the small town of Rangriz in the far western isles with his father, Chief Rosha Rangriz, and mother Cecilliana Heartly. After seeking out the council of SEVEN for guidance in the path of Chief Leader in line of his father, Aurice had found his father lied face down in the ground with blood around the body. Aurice was framed by a coup de' tat group known as the Alcolites of Minstrels. He was later sentenced to death via public hanging, but the night before his death sentence he was set free from his grieving mother, who believed that her son was innocent.
Aurice had run from his home never looking back and vowed to never forget who he was and where he came from, knowing that some day he will make his mother proud for living after such an uneasy and horrific tragedy. Aurice took under his mother's name, Heartly, and sailed to the continent to the east, landing near the city of Gridania. Where fate has given him a reason to live. May the mother crystal save him and bring him to prosperity.
