RP History: Tristan, his parents, and his sister were all separated when his parents were laywaid by deadly beasts while traveling to Gridania. His parents hid him and his toddler sister in separate trees before heading back to fight off the beasts and salvage what they could from the ruined carriage. A hunter found his baby sister and took her to try and find her parents. Tristan tried to give chase, but ended up lost and alone for the next two decades. He grew up hiding from most people resulting in extreme social anxiety beyond those he learns to trust and using a botanist's scythe as a weapon. He eventually set the scythe aside to learn conjury when he proved to have a talent for healing and a lot of aether. He is now a goldsmith/weaver and healer role adventurer and currently lives with his husband, Khalja, at his vineyard. Khalja made the wine that they used for their vows while Tristan made the rings and the cups. The ceremony was witnessed by their allies and friends. Tristan met Khalja through his only friend, Kylian, when Tristan needed help on a quest and those he knew (including his sister who he was reunited with through Kylian as well) were all busy. The two did many quests together and grew close. The two plus Tristan's sister all live in Khalja's home in the Black Shroud along with Khalja's pet wolf and Tristan's pet bluebird.
