Personnage

So besides my chest piece, my other body armor is the level 45 Drachen gear. I have up to date gear for my waist, ears etc. But, I was reluctant to suit up in anything else because for one it looks bad ass and two I really do notice faster cool down with all that skill speed bonus from the Drachen gear.

However, it feels like 3 levels on now at level 48, maybe the extra defense from some newer gear might be a good thing. I know as DPS I'm not supposed to get hit and that Dragoon is a glass cannon, but when the end bosses of dungeons randomly target party members I feel like I get walloped. Is that just the nature of my class or should I abandon my Drachen gear till I get the new set at 50 in Mor Dhona?
