In the midst of the forests of the Black Shroud, lived Palom; a young, quiet, inquisitive lalafell with an affinity to the elements. Palom always dreamed but never dared to see Eorzea as it was outside the Shroud.

The recent events of forest lord attacks on citizens had the Gridanian Conjurers' focus all their powers on mending the rifts with the forest and elementals. Having seen the unrest amongst the people and feeling the the unusually heavy air from the trees , Palom decided if he was to continue training further in Conjury it'd be better done outside the current turmoil that is the Black Shroud. And so he began his journey south, past the plains of Thanalan eventually reaching the marvelous city of Ul'dah by caravan.

Little did he know , what was waiting for him on the other side of Eorzea.
