Monday Afternoon/EveningA good and decent
Soulstone Survivors stream today. I tweaked my OBS settings, which I really regretted. I had to revert them back, but then restart my stream in order for them to kick back in. Oh, and
Keitaro87 as well as
og_PowerFantastic dropped by for a while. And the session was the usual character leveling, getting the low level guys caught up. I bit off more than I could chew on one (Titan Hunt) run, because the last few boss fights dragged on so long. I ended up having to abort the run, and did another at a lower difficulty which went much smoother. But I
DEFINITELY had to call it off after all that since I was nodding off. Not sure if there will be a tomorrow morning stream, but we'll see.
TuesdayTried out a game called
Cult of the Lamb, a very popular roguelike. Not a fan, although I definitely get the appeal (part Hades, part Stardew Valley, two great tastes that taste great together it seems lol). One, the in-game music is copyrighted. I mean, I could easily turn off the music and play my own stuff, but still.... I shouldn't
HAVE to shut the music off if I don't want my stream vids muted/copyright claimed. Secondly, it seems to be a spam-heavy 3-hit combo kinda game, which I don't have the hands for anymore. Bullet heaven games do the shooting for me.
So, bailed out of that and fired up some SS and did a Titan Hunt run, after which I went ahead and called it a sesh. Oh, and
DrDoobee dropped by for a while as well.
And this afternoon/evening's SS stream went pretty good, just doing some Titan Hunt runs while
Keitaro87,
og_PowerFantastic, and a long-time-lurker-first-time-chatter named
facedoh_ dropped by to check things out. But as said, the Soulstoning went good. Runs went nice and smooth with few hiccups. Characters are all level 200+ now, so I have quite the roster. So if I'm on tomorrow - it's been debateable these past few days, and if I
DO come on, it's been for a couple hours at the most - it'll be more of the same.
WednesdayA short uneventful session that turned into a good overlong one when
ShadowTronics came by, wanting to know how Soulstone plays. I spent about an hour or so showing him the game. I seemed to do a good job, as he went and got the demo! But I had to quit after that, as I had gone on too long, having intended this to be a short session. Lots of stuff to do this morning!
