A pretty good HoloCure stream last night. And the usual bunch of Merry Men showed up. Keitaro87, white_wimmin, and yangwright. And a new visitor named floweble dropped by for a hot minute. So, some good time chattin' today.

And as for the session, I started with Roboco-san, doing a couple progression runs, but dying on the second. I did a random select afterwards and got Haato/Haachama. I like this character! She plays dual roles, having a tank-style "stay-at-home" close-ranged attack and a long-ranged attack that inflicts poison damage over time. And you can switch between them with only a 10-second cooldown (remember that ability healers had in FF XIV that allowed you to turn your healing stance off so you can deal more DPS? Yeah.....). This character is great for when I want to switch between camping a spot for a while, and going around and shooting stuff. Most other characters, it's one or the other.

And around this time, I swallowed my pride and added a second item to my loadout, the "Chicken's Feather", which gives a few revives. Hurts my soul, but at least it gives some survivability to characters that have little to no self-healing, meaning I might actually take them up again (Kaela comes to mind). But, after all that, I decided to do a run with Suisei, which ended up being a tough one, JUST BARELY defeating the final boss after using up all my revives. I really need to start doing more "relaxo" runs to end my streams. Sheesh!

Skipped watching Hikaru no Go this mornng. I remember mentioning The Golden Girls on my previous blog. So it had me thinking "Hmm..." So, I went ahead and watched the pilot episode. Good stuff! Aged pretty well with me. Although, in this day and age of Minecraft movies, Vtubers, and all sorts of flops and slops, I could see this being a "Try to stay awake challenge" for most other people. -_-



A VERY long stream today, at 7.5 hours! But it was a quiet one for the most part, most not even aware I was on early (except for yangwright, who is seemingly on 24 hours a day lol). But astralataraxy also came by for a bit. And towards the tail end of the stream SteelPhoenix78 dropped by. Good to see him! Been a VERY long time. Three or so years in fact!. He's been bogged down with work and other IRL stuff, so he's never had a chance to stream. Hope he gets it all sorted out.

Anyway, for the session though it was definitely a busy one. I started with Kaela, doing some more progression runs with her. Only one more stage to go. Switched over to Roboco-san after, working on progression with her as well. And after all that, I broke off and did a random select and got Subaru. A not too bad character. She throws baseballs that eventually become fireballs. She can insta-kill enemies as well as cheat death. After that, I did a run with Haato/Haachama, mostly just camping but sometimes running around and shooting stuff as well. Did a final run, and left shortly after. Definitely not a bad stream, but I've had better (and in a shorter amount of time as well lol).
