I recently upgraded my GPU and though I'm pretty close to bottlenecking its actual effects due to my mediocre processor, I wanted to get another Endwalker benchmark before I did the Dawntrail one, especially because Dawntrail is the mark of many graphics updates to all of FF14. So here we are. This is mostly for my own personal "records", I suppose, because I'm a big nerd. But if you get anything out of it, hey, all the better.
(Note: If you want to use the Endwalker benchmark instead of the Dawntrail one after today, 4/14/24, you'll have to find a download somewhere online as it's no longer available on SE's sites as far as I know. I downloaded the EW one yesterday before it disappeared from the official benchmark site, which is kept updated by SE to include the newest benchmark available as they're released. There's definitely some out there; as always, just be careful what you click on and download for the love of Hydaelyn.)🌝

For this benchmark I specifically took the "optimized" settings from NVIDIA's GeForce Experience software, which is supposed to read your system's info from the GPU itself to the drivers to the display, CPU, RAM, and so on, as well as the premade game profiles NVIDIA's people put together, and pick the most optimal settings based on how the game runs and looks on your machine. So I made sure they matched up and ran the benchmark, achieving pretty great results.
I might try tweaking things with the Endwalker benchmark and trying again, but I'm more like to mess around with the details more with the Dawntrail benchmark and its release since there are many different things changing graphically, and because the benchmark isn't the same thing as playing online with other players, particularly at the launch of a new expansion---things get extremely hectic not only in the new regions but especially near MSQ locations, aetheryte plazas, certain instanced duties and zones, and so on and so forth.
