So. I only had 1 of the cloths needed to make the adventurer sweater so I looked for an alternative. I first used the sweater needed to make the adventure sweater and had it painted gloom purple. Then switch back to the Glacial Coat with Metallic purple after hearing that another person got gold with that. Of course I got gold as well with it, but I was 3 points off. Well, I thought maybe because I was using the caster dps ring on a healer so I went and farmed Ultima to get the healer correct ring. Low and behold I get the same score. I love that maybe this thing has alternatives as it would help people get good scores with "themed" items, but that isn't always the case when it's possibly class restricted or weather you are rich enough or buy stuff off mog station. It ends up being pay to win. The OCD completionist in me wants to get 100 but I strive really hard to have my crafting classes, Gathering and job classes up to par and this is a little disheartening to people that are working/doing their best but just are not 100 percent done with everything in the game. After all, this is a progressive game isn't it? like if we were 100 percent done there would be no reason to play anymore. Right Enix?
I even went and bought two Metallic Purple dyes off the Mog station to dye my hand and coat and changed my boots from creme yellow to metallic gold and I still only went from 96-97 points.
