I'm a completionist. Everything the game records as complete (crafting, gathering, map discovery, achievements, etc.) and everything the game gives us to collect (mounts, minions, hair styles, emotes, triple triad etc.) is a goal.

But here's the catch...I hate grinding. I will only do it if there's a shiny check mark at the end of it.

For this reason, I love the lack of rewards in The Merchant's Tale. I can run through it once, get everything on the first go and never have to touch it again. Anything I can't get I will just buy on the marketboard. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but The Merchant's Tale's reward system is perfect for me.
