Ringar Ironforged is born to a small family residing in Hulcavria, north of the Bloodshores. He was born a carpenter and ironsmith as his family been for the village. Since young, Ringar seeks to find adventure and had caused numerous trouble with the neighbour's boy. In 1552, Ringar aged 20, headed off to join as a volunteer to aid Ala Mingo against Theoderic, the King of Ruin, fought to wipe out the Fist of Rhalgr, the Monks, of Ala Mhigo.

He was injuried in the battle and came to Limsa Lominsa for aid and shelter and where he stayed and healed. He joined as guard for the local regiment and it is here, for 20 years, he served. Ringar led a small team fighting numerous skirmishes in the border and was called upon to fight the battle in 1572 against the VIIth Legion of the Garlean Imperial Army in the Cartaneau Flats.

With this came the end of the 6th Astral Era and the beginning of the 7th Umbral Era. The gizzly warrior now in his 40s retired as an active combatant of the Limsa Lominsa guards, took up his saw and hammer to start a retirement career as a local carpenter and smith.

Life wishes: To gather enough gil to buy a small house, to start selling his carpenter and smithing wares.
