FFXIV ARR ports and 10102
Public
For those of you having Error 10102 Connection with Server was lost, this picked my attention last night:
UDP
55296-55551
TCP
80, 8080, 443, 55296-55551
That's the list of the ports that FF XIV use, be sure to forward them by your router, also I added them to exclusion rules in my windows firewall.
Also if you use Avast be sure to add the file directory of the game to the exclusions of the antivirus.
The logging problems (world full) won’t go away, but in case you are able to login you won’t be disconnected, hope it works for you.
Thank you :)
and how do you do that?
@Oroku Zaki for that you should read your router's documentation, every router has a different way to set things up =)
This is nice, been looking for thems.
Nice! I'll document it!
My router asks for a server IP address, do you know what I put for FFXIV?
Strange TCP 8080 is an invalid port value. UDP 8080 is NOT invalid though.
Guys just so you know (I work in IT), port 80 is HTTP like a web server, so shouldn't need to be open, and 8080 is almost always used to remotely access and manage your router. So for anyone that can't open port 8080 it's most likely because you have remote management on, but both of these ports should make no difference. The UDP and TCP 55296-55551 is the key one. When it asks for an IP address that's the IP of your computer that is running FF, so make sure it is static and doesn't change.

I'd highly recommend using Port Triggering. Sorry for the necro.
I am having so much trouble they give me the list of ports I have my router open I don't know how to do this because it's going from start to end protocol number and they told me to go to portforward.com and they're wanting to charge me God knows how much for a stupid program when it can be done I just need to know somebody who can help me if you can help me setup my porch so that my PlayStation 4 can download the files please help
thank you for writing up the port's,
this solves the 90002 error issue for constantly getting kicked.
Just wondering but i have a Technicolor TG582n (sad ik) and followed this and wanted to clarify is this setup correct??

I have two computers that I use, at my home I use a netgear that comes through my service, Charter, at my office in my shop I have a Hitron, because one is a business account and the other is a residential. Now, on the residential account, it was easy to change, routerlogin.net but it wasn't port forwarding, it was port triggers I had to set up to make it work.
But now, at my office, I can't access the router, I tried calling Charter customer service and told them which ports to "Forward" and I tried to have them set up "triggers" first, but they refused to do it. So now my problem is trying to figure out how to make this work at my office.
Any suggestions?
