S'rihna Nehti is a nonspeaking Miqo'te bard who communicates using sign language, notes, drawings, and pantomime as needed. Rihna was born with mostly Seeker of the Sun features baring her elongated fangs, larger ears, extra long tail and… unusually large amount of fur. Rihna’s hair is actually a thick fluffy fur, which covers much of her skin. She can be a bit mischievous at times, a bit shy, has a bad habit of eavesdropping on people, and is a terrible liar. Rihna only fights to protect herself and others, avoiding combat whenever necessary. She never hunts for sport, and only kills when she has no other choice.

She originally had no memory of anything before she awoke in the Black Shroud and boarded a nearby carriage to Gridania. Rihna assumed she must have had basic archery knowledge from before the Cataclysm (partially due to the bow she carried) though she had no recollection of it. This ended up being true, as she was taught to hunt by her mother when she was a child. She tends to float along the aetherical sea so to speak, partially because she had no memory to base her opinion on or any real idea of how she must have felt, and partially because she has always been the type to go with the flow.

Her amnesia was so complete she didn’t even have vague inclinations of who she might have been or what she might have thought, she could only really base her opinions on what has happened to her within her current memories. The only real thing she remembered is her name. She is very open to the opinions and ideas of others and finds herself drawn to those with a strong sense of self or purpose, both due to her memory loss and relatively sheltered childhood. Before she regained her memory, Rihna would sometimes automatically respond to a question that she normally wouldn’t have been able to answer, to the shock of both herself and her conversation partner.

Rihna loves being a bard and playing music for people, especially since being a bard allows her to hear the songs and feelings of those long dead, something that holds a bittersweet tinge for her, as her own past was once long lost. Even though she can't sing the lyrics to the ballads she plays, she still keeps track of them using various notes. While she has discovered a method of expressing the lyrics of songs and emotions of certain places and memories, this involves absorbing and processing large amounts of aether, which tends to exacerbate her aether sickness.

Her ability to read and write is one of the few things she retained from before the Cataclysm despite her amnesia, along with her hunting ability. Partially due to how notes and letters are some of Rihna’s main methods of talking with others, she was ecstatic about helping the Deputy Post Moogle delivery letters around Eorzia. She proudly bears the title of Postmaster and wears her Post Miqo'te hat at all times.
