After the Mithra race we're exiled from Vana'diel, many chose to hide among the cover of the forests during day in order to feast upon the moon of night, while others chose to hide among the lands at night in order to bask in the light of the sun. Time passed, and generations lived on under a new life...


Legends once told that Hydaelyn was created by The Twelve at the dawn of its time, and the Mithra had split into two groups we're allowed to walk it's land. The two tribes called themselves Keepers of the Moon, and Seekers of the Sun. They arrived in Eorzea during the Age of Endless Frost, a time when all the waters were frozen across the land. These first tribes had come to be called the Miqo'te race, as they hunted beasts across the frozen tundra on to their new Eorzea to stay alive. As the seas melted, they had a new home for a new generation of Miqo'te...

Holy Dragoon is one of those Miqo'te, living during this Seventh Astral Age. She, a Keeper of the Moon, thrives upon the night sky. Her pale skin the result of generations of Miqo'te. She is the distant ancestor of Holydragoon, once a Bastokian Dragoon of Vana'diel. Much like her ancestor, she naturally leaned towards the use of spears, harpoons, the lance, and the use of white magic. Unlike her ancestor though, she lives for the wood. This is likely due to when the Miqo'te split into its two prevailing tribes. Of The Twelve, Holy favours Halone, the Fury. One of the gods that bestowed upon her the gift of the Echo.

As the rumours of the coming of the Seventh Umbral Age swept the land, Holy Dragoon joined the ranks of Seraphim, and sat upon it's council. When the Calamity struck Eorzea, Louisoix gifted her with a crystal sleep for long 5 years. During this time, she vowed to lead survivors of Bahamut's wrath into the 7th Umbral Era and beyond. When she awoke, Ipsen Castle was born from her desire to see the weak be as powerful as the strong. Holy is loyal to the wooded city of Gridania and its leader, Kan-E-Senna, while pledged to the Order of the Twin Adder. As an Azure Dragoon and member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, she maintains a vow protect Eorzea from the Garlean Empire, to discover the truths of the Ascians and learn the origins of Hydaelyn.
