One of the legendary warriors of light, Uni fought at the battle of Carteneau. However, when Louisoix enacted his final gambit, she found herself in a timeless, lifeless void composed of the crawling chaos itself. Her only companion: a gibbering crazy six-armed kabuki poser man who ranted about his epic quest to see and battle his worthy opponent again one day...and swords. The. Whole. Time. Surrounded by horrors man was not meant to know, unable to silence the cretin, and even denied the sweet release of death itself, Uni went completely insane and vowed that one day she would be free, and swore to the uncaring gods that Louisoix would pay for dooming her to a fate far, far worse than death and the Hells themselves.

Several eternities later, she reappeared in Eorzea in a flash of light. After clothing herself in the skin of a savage beast she slew with her bare hands, she made her way back to Limsa Lominsa, where she reestablished her Officer's commission in the Maelstrom, despite no one remembering her face. Unable to take her rightful vengeance on Louisoix, and not yet having fully recovered from stark raving madness, she has taken to bathing in the blood of every Garlean soldier she can get her hands on, slaying gods, and epic levels of heroic badassery. After the betrayal of Ul'dah's monetarists and the Crystal Braves, she sought refuge with her battle brother Harchefaunt in Ishgard, where she embraced the path of the Dark Knight and armed with her newfound burning hatred and inner darkness vowed they would pay with their wretched lives. She has bested dark warriors from another world and killed that which should not die.
