I was born in Gridania, and have recently returned after years of soul-searching. My mother was a talented musician who died during birth so I was to be raised by my father; a brilliant man and a better archer, who was able to join the elite guard of the God's Quiver.

He fought in the Battle of Carteneau the day Dalamud descended upon Eorzea and Bahamut unleashed his ferocious power across the land. I've never seen him again.

I've journeyed long and hard and now it is time to return home. I will follow in my father's footsteps and become the greatest archer Gridania -- nay -- Eorzea has ever known.
