Strategist, Fighter, Swordswoman. The first recorded appearance of Kageryu Kurohana sits in the enlistment records for the Immortal Flames. A Doman refugee who fought with an ancestral martial art, Kageryu rose to the rank of Second Lieutenant before joining the Black Waltz. To accommodate the move, she transferred to their home state of Limsa Lominsa, working her way from enlistment back up to Second Lieutenant.
As part of her work, she began to investigate the Sharlayan ruins that lined the outskirts of La Noscea, and picked up an affinity for scholarly magicks. Shortly after, she took command of the Black Flower Brigade, and turned it from a loose collection of new recruits, and turned it into the rough and tumble battalion. For this, she was rewarded with the rank of First Lieutenant.
During her expedition to the city of Kugane, she discovered a fancy for their brand of swordsmanship, and has since traded in her gloves for a freshly sharpened blade and currently resides in the Ijin neighborhood of Shirogane.
