Once upon a time, there was an apocalypse in my future that crumbled the world and all its heroes perished. But villains were there too, and seeing their world taken by a being with godlike powers, they united. A united front of villains and heroes stood together, but it was all in vain. They faltered. Yet, one man survived. He took a leap of faith, traveling through time and space before the crisis began. He announced his grief, his sorrows, and his pain to the heroes of the past, hoping to prevent his bleak future. With his words, he released the Exobytes across the globe, giving power to ordinary people so that together they could bring down the supreme evil.
This is how I gained my power and, without regret, joined the people of Earth to defeat the supreme evil. Peace was restored... or so it seemed. Some people took the granted powers for themselves and became corrupt, and thus began my story. I embarked on countless adventures: I fought for the light, witnessed the lightning strike, joined the battle for Earth, saw evil's last laugh, protected my home turf, and witnessed the origin of the crisis. I battled the sons of a demon alongside his kind-hearted daughter. At one point, I fought in three major clashes: the War of the Light, Amazon's Fury, and the Halls of Power, and so on until I was broken by the market. To survive and stay powerful, one had to fight the market.
One night, I heard a calling in my sleep. I followed the voice to a fantastical world, and when I opened my eyes, I found myself in a caravan traveling to a golden city in the desert. I started a life like something out of a phantasm book, living my final fantasy. I became the warrior of light and dark, embraced my new lifestyle with my new friends and companions. But deep down, I knew I was a stranger in this world, yet I chose to live it to the fullest. In my previous world, I was called Nightwings Beyond. Now, I am just Beyond... beyond my reality and my true origins. Eorzea, thank you for accepting this unworthy soul into your world.
