On the 7th Sun of the 6th Astral Moon, "Sir" Axxiel was born into the Seekers of the Sun clan within Ul'dah. His first name lost in his past, he grew into his family, whom were traders at the time. Following the Guardian Nald'thal, he wanted to aspire to be a trader as his dad was at a young age. As he grow older though, his aspirations slowly shifted. He noticed that his family was often taken advantage of, being poor traders who could not afford much protection within the bustling desert city. Being beaten, threatened, and extorted seemed to be his future at that point, and he was not going to accept that. Taking on the ideal of protecting his family, he trained to be a Gladiator within the city itself, in secret.
Eventually, his family lead to be in debt, to a not very good group of people. Unaware of this situation, Axxiel continued his training in secret, only to learn that as his time passed wanting to acquire his goal of protecting his family, the situation within his family became more dire. After coming home from "mapping trade routes", as he would lie to his parents in regards where he would slip off to so he could train, his mother had been taken hostage, with his dad nowhere in sight.
As soon as he entered his home and realized what was going on, two men rushed him, but thanks to his training, he easily avoided. Running to grab his gear, he fought off the two men easily, but at the cost to being slashed down his left eye due to a loss of footing to gain a killing blow. He ran back to find his mother dead, and father missing still.
From that point on, "Sir" Axxiel has been traveling. Protecting anyone who needs it, seeing his cause as noble and just. Though, he knew deep down, as it grew more and more every day, it wasn't for justice. It was for revenege. As this emotion grew more and more, Axxiel sacrificed using a shield, taking up a single, large sword instead. He would protect those who needed it, but in turn, make sure those who needed punished would never be able to hurt anyone ever again.
The Darkness within him swells more and more every day, as he searches still...
