This land is strange, filled with creatures beyond anything that I can comprehend and beings of every shape, size and race that I could only imagine. My earlier reception was not a welcome one, especially when having been questioned over my intentions for wandering throughout the land. How was I to explain my plight? Despite seeing some of my brethren, Seekers of the Sun, I highly doubt that even they would understand my choice to flee from not only my home but my family as well.

Being a female, it is not easy to make the decision to leave to wander the world alone and unprotected. I pray that my abilities at conjury will aid me in my travels and that I may find peace and freedom in this new land. As much as I love my family, I refuse to be who it is they wish for me to become; that includes mating with one of their choosing. I would rather wander this strange land, afraid and alone, than be forced into a life not of my choosing.

In this journal, I shall write my trials and pray that if something happens to me that it will be found and returned to my family so that they may know that I do this not only for myself, but for them as well. For now, I begin my journey...
