Tomorrow is the day that a small group and I take to the Binding Coil of Bahamut. It took a week of planning and coordinating, yet we only managed to gather a total of 5 warriors. I am a little apprehensive to lead a synced undersized party to the coil's depths, but we will take our time and be ready as can be.
Our plan for combat is simple albeit risky: 1 Tank, 2 SCH, 2 DPS. The plan is for the SCH to double as DPS and healing in order to make up for the lack of DPS output. I am confident my black magic's wide attack range can help mitigate mobs during these first 5 turns--as long as our tank keeps the pulls on the smaller side. Luckily one of the SCH has seen and experienced the Coil, and will act as navigator.
This could go poorly, but we are in high spirits. I expect the Coil to be a challenge for our party; however, should we succeed, songs will be written about this epoch.
I only worry our party not ready for what comes after.
As someone who has done the first coils both MINE and normal synced, it probably won't work.
the last boss will be 2 snakes which NEED to be tanked separate or it will be a wipe. You will have one healer on each tank keeping them alive while the DPS are split 2 a piece to a snake. All the while they are doing this, the DPS have to also bait the blobs and keep that damage from the tanks. Healers will also have to make sure the dps's don't die from that damage too.
Yeah, NOT easy synced. ;-)
Good to know, but no worries. If we can’t do it the plan will be to fall on to doing that turn with max levels. We are going for the experience, but fun and story takes priority.
