Reika of the Azure Dawn, of House Fujishima, of Koshu's Fuji-Shima Isle, First of Her Name, Liberator of the Crimson Blades, Mother of Azure, Victor of Falling Stars & Raging Seas, Aetherborn, Infinitum Master, and The Unsundered. FFXIVReika is a cherished blue-haired Miqo'te guild master with a long legacy of leading Azure Infinitum, a prominent community formed in 2014, with roots in FFXI going back to 2003. Her lore reveals a fascinating journey: born from the Aether as the bearer of an ancient Hecektra soul.
Reika's tale began humbly as a maid from Doma, later embarking on a quest to Eorzea after the 7th Umbral Calamity in search of an old friend. Joining the "Crimson Blades" mercenary faction, she became pivotal in thwarting a coup, liberating fellow adventurers from a grand conspiracy, and co-founding Azure Infinitum. Under her leadership, the free company played key roles in ending the Dragonsong War, uniting factions, and liberating Ala Mhigo.
From that time onward, Reika grew in experience while Azure's legacy thrived into a new era following a controversial mystery known as The Sundering. No stranger to immeanse cruelty, Reika bears a painful past while choosing to stay empowered by her beliefs, sheer resolve, and close allies. Reika later led Azure through the Resurgens Caeruleum, a long campaign which brought Azure Infinitum to new heights, continuing to thrive bright and unsundered.
Under her lead alongside The Azure Council, Azure Infinitum maintains a uniquely intricate organization of camaraderie, order, and uniformity rarely seen- commanding a majesty of family, loyalty, unity, and love among the guild- sometimes misunderstood by everyday adventurers and hecklers at first glance- its membership holding fast to its truths and values, and one another.
Reika of House Fujishima remains a legendary warrior of light, known for her resilience and transformative impact on others, the world, and beyond. Reika wears her coronets & tiaras as symbols of leadership over Azure Infinitum.
In her first act in 2024, Reika ushered in the Novus Lux Eternum era and its Ascension project, a decree that would polish Azure Infinitum and prepare for future expeditions, growth, and interdimensional endeavors with other worlds.
Beyond FFXIVHikaru Kazushime is Azure's Founder & CEO who plays Reika Fujishima. He has been working since 2007 as a web developer, industry journalist, community admin, leader, and an active online presence.
Kazu (for short) is known for his ability to adapt to leading communities, creating strategies to improve or build networks, and bringing people together.
