1) Be considerate of varying player skill. Friendly and constructive criticism is helpful, but not everyone is meta. Ability and disabilities also come into play here.
2) No debates on politics or religion in FC chat or Discord. These topics spiral out of control. If we learn facts about you through casual conversation, that's fine (ex: Logging off for church, bbl in about 2 hours), but don't start focus discussions on these topics.
3) All complaints or disagreements must be brought to an officer for resolution if one cannot be found peacefully. Do not let a debate turn into a heated argument in FC chat. Please have logs or screenshots ready if this is in an issue between two members. We don't want this to devolve into a she-said he-said contest. Any issues that can't be resolved by the officers will be escalated to the FC leader.
4) Be mindful of what you say in FC chat. If you have a personal issue with someone, take it to tells. However, please keep in mind that any forms or harassment or slurs against another player will be grounds for expulsion from the FC.
5. FC members are representative of our Myths of Valor and are expected to present the image we strive to uphold as a friendly and engaging community. Any activities or behavior in game towards other players such a griefing, intentional wiping content, etc that could harm the image of the FC is grounds for disciplinary action up to and including termination.
6. We market the FC as friendly and engaging. This is in regards to FFXIV only is not to be expected by members to expand to outside of necessities of game. Any friendships formed beyond game are at individual discretion. However, Players are responsible for their well-being and should not rely on Myths of Valor to provide for their social or mental needs. Should any form of harassment occur over this rule, disciplinary action will be taken up to and including termination.
