Caelum is an RP knight academy setting featuring a combination of slice-of-life and plot-driven RP. You can participate even if you're not in the FC! We also welcome and teach new roleplayers.

The Academy stands as the shared vision of four noble houses of Ishgard, heirs to the legacy of the fallen House Caen: Roselune, Caelumont, Astralis, and Vesperaux. Long a prominent learning institution for the highborn, this Ishgardian knight academy deviated from tradition in recent times to pursue an unconventional goal: gather promising individuals from all over the star and place them on a path to knighthood under Caelum's knight order, Caelestia Aegis. In a city-state in flux, where minor houses have a chance to reimagine their positions, this novel, diverse military force has the goal of shaping Ishgard in House Caen's vision, one where highborn and lowborn alike are treated with empathy, respect, and dignity, bringing Ishgard closer to its ideal: Plato's Just City, ruled by philosopher kings.

Caelum's concept of knighthood transcends traditional boundaries. Caelestia knights are not necessarily combatants clad in armor. They're also engineers, medics, scholars, and more. Here, knighthood is above all a title, built on three pillars: the defense of justice, the protection of the helpless, and loyalty to a higher calling. Above all, knights are to serve as the star's Heavenly Shield (Caelestia Aegis).

• Main Story •
We offer carefully-crafted, long-form storytelling, a unique Ishgardian tale inspired by games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Final Fantasy Tactics. It follows a political conflict between four noble houses of Ishgard as they seek to inherit their ancestral banner, House Caen, and achieve their ambitions to shape Ishgard after the Dragonsong War.

• Ceres •
Our custom-built, constantly-updated software runs all our systems. From automated quest sign-ups and RP character data to house assignments and Student Council elections, Ceres merges RPG progression and roleplay immersion.

• Diverse RP Events •
Members attend classes, student clubs, levequests, apprenticeships, hunts, and more.

• School Uniforms and Four Academic Houses •
After being admitted, students are given a uniform and then sorted into Phoenix, Leviathan, Garuda, or Titan. They wear their houses' colors, earn points, and engage in friendly competitions (particularly at the end of each semester, for a major common room trophy).

• Four Schools •
The academy facilitates different areas of study across four specialized schools: Combat, Magic, Arts & Sciences, and Medicine.

• Character Progression •
Your character can advance through Caelum's school years on their path to becoming a Caelestia knight.

• School Calendar •
Caelum functions on a calendar system, with three semesters: Star, Sun, and Moon. Each ends with an exam period, where students get to sign up, apply their knowledge, and advance to the next classification.

• Focused Application Divisions •
The academy has three focused application divisions: Fieldwatch, Medical, and the Atelier. These allow students to gain on-field experience regardless of their schools of enrollment, in the form of apprenticeships.

• Student Council •
The academy holds elections through Ceres every semester to elect its Student Council president and members, who are in charge of shaping many aspects of student life.

• Ishgardian Knight RP •
After graduation, students become Caelestia Knights, serving as soldiers, engineers, medics, scholars, and more. They complete missions across Coerthas and the star itself to bring about the Order's vision for a new, prosperous Ishgard.
