After playing several hours of the game and coming to the end of ARR's first half I was already thinking of buying the game. What clinched it was the discovery of Hildibrand Manderville and his zany adventures. I can't believe how much I have laughed at the silliness of this quest line. It's a major contrast from the more seriousness I have faced so far with the story.

. I'm rather fond of the sylphs it's the only beast tribe I'm working on religiously for now. I'll probably expand once I become more comfortable with it. I'm surprised by how much there is to do in the game. There are now harder versions of the dungeons I faced thus far, and they each have their own storyline too. I must say I'm pretty impressed with everything so far. It's strange because I wrote off MMOs entirely a few years back.
I'm grateful I gave this game a shot seeing it recommended everywhere. The community is a lot better than previous MMOs I've played which helps a lot. I'm surprised at how helpful they are and willing to give tips/advice if things go awry. I find as I have gotten older I'm a bit slower to learn, so I welcome insight. I often see my older peers who are far more stubborn, and I am forever fearful that I will become closed to learning new things; I mean everything and anything in the world real or otherwise.
Anyway I'll try my best to keep up this blog, especially during maintenance or updates (like what is happening now as it installs the content I bought). No promises because I'm awful at keep up with such things. I think I even have a WordPress somewhere rotting, but I've long forgotten the email and password I used for it.
