As we move on and try to pick up the pieces and try to rebuild
after Prince Bojji’s absolute Bulldozing of this community
over the past few weeks, the leadership team
has been left to ponder what to do now that
this has happened. As such, we have been discussing
for the past few days as to what we should do.
Yesterday we came to a final decision,
to which we felt we should let everyone know.
When this Free Company was founded,
it was with the intent to help new players
on their path through FFXIV
Of course, since then, this Free Company
has become more than that.
In the time since it was founded,
Wutai Nation has branched out to
all of the servers across all data centers,
bringing in thousands of players across the world.
However, that was all during the time that
Prince Bojji was here.
And sure, whilst he did a lot of good things
for this company,
what he has done recently will not be forgotten.
Because of him, over half of our FCs
have been irreparably damaged,
and many players who were a part
of our family have now left for better ventures.
And while we are still trying to rebuild,
the damage has already been done,
so the time has come for a change.
Now, to the first of 2 announcements:
We felt that due to Wutai Nation being branded as such by Bojji,
we have decided to rebrand EVERYTHING.
We are casting off the metaphorical shackles
that have tied us down thanks to Bojji,
and we will be revamping everything on this server.
In around two weeks or so,
the Free Company known as Wutai Nation will be no more.
Instead, we will be rebranding into
a Grand Company of multiple FCs across all servers,
similar to the 3 Grand Companies in the actual game.
Now, we are still currently deciding on a name
for the newly rebranded Grand Company,
so it will take some time.
But once we have decided upon a name,
we will let you all know.
Now to the second announcement:
As of right now,
all FCs under the Wutai Nation FC name
are now completely FREE to rebrand as you wish,
with one stipulation. Whilst you will be free to rebrand the FC,
it will still fall under the banner of the new Grand Company.
As such, the Clan Tag will most likely become the same on all servers.
Once a new name has been decided, as well as the new Clan Tag,
we will let you all know.
We are now entering a new era. One free of the sins of the past.
A new dawn is arising for this company,
and we hope you all will stay along for the ride.
