Monday Afternoon/Evening



Another really good Soulstone Survivors stream. But like yesterday, it was a fairly quiet one, with it just being og_PowerFantastic and chrislikepcgames coming on for a bit.

But the game itself is still great. I started leveling up a new character named The Spellblade, that wields melee-based magic, kinda like the Red Mage in FF XIV. An okay mid-tier class. You have to manually aim (or auto-aim, but this isn't always effective) his main weapons, but you can wield fire or ice-flavored AoE to compensate for this. I eventually got him to level 60 (I think), mostly by doing "Overlord" runs, which are much more difficult. But, they also give more XP and loot.

Oh, and the reasoning for leveling up new characters: Skill runes. Whenever you clear a run with a certain character in less than 12 minutes, then get it to level 30, then 60. You'll unlock its main attack type (Spellblade = Swing - yeah, swing is an element lol - Elementalist = Electricity, etc.), capable of being used in various ways, such as getting to choose that attack type more often (level 60 I think), or adding 5 abilities that use the attack type to your pool of abilities that you can choose on levelup (level 30 as far as I know).

This comes in handy, especially with the fire and nature attack types, which have the DoT AoE attacks that are very useful (I think there's others, but I can't remember what they are), especially in the harder areas, where enemies are tough to kill, since 1). They deal a lot of damage, and 2). They have such big AoE attacks that you HAVE to move, making focusing them down very difficult.

But anyway, I had to call it off after a few hours, as I was getting groggy. And it was snowing, so I HAD to do a food run before the weather gets worse (supposed to be a big snowstorm tomorrow). So, a Monday Funday.

Tuesday

A shitty sucky Pinball Arcade stream session this morning. The Pinball itself was just mediocre. But I think it could've been better if people showed up. It was dead as a doornail, with NOONE showing up, except a few lurkers and that's it. Presumably it's because it's the workweek for most people, so they're off to bed because they have to go to work/school tomorrow. So, two hours I'll never get back. *sigh*

And it was a good but pretty dead SS stream, with it just being og_PowerFantastic coming on for a while. But as said, it was a good session otherwise. I focused on unlocking stuff this time, eventually managing to unlock a couple more characters, as well as a few more curse tiers (curse = difficulty level). I also discovered my main for now, The Chaoswalker. He's capable of using fire, poison, and chaos AoE attacks, which comes in handy when dealing with hard content, where aiming your attacks isn't that feasible (Oh, fire damage is just a straight up DoT, poison spreads its DoT to other targets on death, and chaos can trigger another one of your skills at random).

Buuuut anyway, like yesterday, I eventually had to cut the session short, since I was starting to fall asleep, as well as there being nobody on, making it an even easier decision.

Wednesday

No pinball stream this morning. Instead, I hung out at ShadowTronics's stream for a while, something I haven't done in a VERY long time! Watched him play a game called Run 8 Train Simulator. Kinda spreadsheet heavy, from what I saw. Graphics were added as an afterthought too. I did play a little bit of SS off-stream though and unlocked a new class (The Necromancer). But, I definitely had to lay down eventually, as I was feeling like shit. And there's a chance that I might have to call in tonight, due to me still being sick, but we'll see.

Okay, that's gonna do 'er. Another workweek has begun. So, <Take care>, everyone. And you all have yourselves a good night/day. ;)
