Monday Afternoon/EveningA good afternoon/evening stream(s) today, albeit mostly dead (only
yangwright, and a new-ish visitor - he's apparently a Pinball lurker who decided to watch one of my other streams as well - named
DrDoobee, came by to hang out towards the latter half of my stream).
And for the streamin' I went ahead and played some more
shapez. And I'm starting to get the hang of this game, which is actually making me want to play this more (Good call,
ShadowTronics. You seem to know me pretty well)!
After that, I switched to
Balatro, intrigued by some of the mechanics in the new Vampire Survivors DLC. Cool game! I'll definitely be playing more of this. It's like the game
Slay the Spire, but with a poker variation.
TuesdayA really good
Pinball Arcade stream this morning, like has been going on lately. And
ALSO like has been going on lately, a fair few of people have been stopping by, like
white_wimmin,
ShadowTronics,
hgpkosch, as well as
Keitaro87, who came by right on the tail end of the session. All these guys came around this morning, which was one of the biggest reasons why I was doing so good. I broke the Top 5 high scores on several tables this time. Some of the most solid Pinball I've played in a while. I
DAMN near beat my previous score on the PIN*BOT table, one that I set in late 2018 (still got the screenshot from it) though. So, yeah. Definitely hoping for another good one tomorrow, which would be a great way to cap off the weekend.
:)And a rinse and repeat of yesterday, another dead but decent shapez & Balatro stream (just
yangwright this time). In shapez I'm starting to get a grasp on things, which is making things smoother. But levels are taking longer now, since the required item you have to make each level is getting complicated. Higher quantities as well. Still a good game so far though. And Balatro was a good one, with some fairly long and productive runs, and a few I had to restart due to sucky starting hands/draws. But, an overall good time that I wish more people were around for. *sigh*

So, the bloom was off the boom this morning, only merely just playing some extremely mediocre Pinball. And if
white_wimmin,
lentils_and_rice, and
Keitaro87 were disappointed with me, I wouldn't be surprised. But yeah, this session was definitely nothing to write home about. I wasn't
BAD or anything. I'd do some great Pinballin' one moment, but then just totally suck ass on another. I tried playing a few tables in a 2-player "handicap mode", but that was just prolonging the torture. So, definitely a not-as-good ending to a weekend. *sigh*
And that's that on that. Another workweek has begun. So,
