Joe's Busy Weekend, 5/2 - 5/4

Public
Saturday

Played some Grim Dawn today, working on the Act 2 & 3 questlines with my reaper class. And part way into Act 3 my reaper died! So that was pretty devastating (although I'm starting to think about "resurrecting" him. See video description). I'll definitely be licking my wounds for a while over that one.

And here's the records I played this evening:

Metallica - Live at the Playhouse Theatre, Winnipeg, 1986
Frank Zappa - One Size Fits All
The Ventures - Golden Greats

Sunday

Strayed from the (fasting/non-fasting) path this morning, eating a couple of 3 Musketeers candy bars at work. As well as having a chicken slider every day for the past several days. Surprisingly no change in weight (still 149lbs.) and . . . . . . lost a quarter inch on my gut (34.75" now).

So today, I was going to stream Planescape: Torment, but didn't feel like doing a reading stream (there is a lot of text to read in this game!), so I decided to play Grim Dawn instead. And I did decided to go ahead and cheat death and "revive" my reaper (basically a combination of FF XIV ninja and dark knight), via hero editor (basically a character hack program) since he died to "unpreventable" damage. Kinda leaves a black mark on my soul, but basically if he dies, my interest in the game dies with him. And I really like this game so, necessity makes for some strange bedfellows. :/>

But anyway, for the session itself I just continued doing the Act 3 storyline, making it to about the halfway point. I also pulled my blademaster (part FF XIV ninja, part warrior) out of the mothballs and did some running around with him as well.

And the records I played today were:

Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back
Rush - A Farewell to Kings
Ivan Rebroff (Russian opera singer)
Heart - Dreamboat Annie

Monday

Today was FF XIV, working on my dancer. Ran the usual hunts, Pixie beast quests, and a couple roulettes, all of which went off without a hitch (although the leveling roulette had a douchebag healer that kept goading the tank into pulling big, causing him to leave casters behind and making pulls very untidy. Another run where I should've just eaten the debuff). And eventually my dancer got level 76 and unlocked the Espirit trait, which needs it's tooltip fixed because it's made to sound like it's a guaranteed effect when it isn't.

And after I was done with all that, as well as piddling around with my 'goony, fighting some training dummies, I went ahead and broke off and played some Bloons: Tower Defense 6. Real good time, actually completing maps and stuff. Did a co-op with one of my viewers, which is one of the reasons I like streaming this game. I do a lot of co-op maps with people checking out my stream, something I've never really had happen in any of my other games, save a rare occasion with Lmartyr.

And the records that I played this time around were:

The Cure - Disintegration
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
The Residents - Eskimo
Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technician
The Dubliners - More of the Hard Stuff (side one)

Aaaalrighty then. Time to call it a night. And let the fasting commence! Thanks for reading/watching. And <Take care.>, everyone. ;)>
