Well, got a double whammy today. My job had a food truck out back last night, so I had me a cheeseburger. And then on my way out the door this morning they were selling chicken sliders, another delicacy of mine that they seldom have there. Surprisingly I still lost a pound (152lbs now)!
And another 24-hour fast attempt might be coming in Saturday. According to
Fast Diets: For Dummies, the book I'm reading right now, fasting can actually
enhance muscle growth. And as I have Sunday off, giving me a 3-day weekend which makes getting a workout in more feasible, I'm considering doing this.
Buuuuut anyway, for today's
FF XIV session It was mostly dancer, doing about half the hunts - with my paladin doing the other half - Pixie beast tribe quests, and a few roulettes. And after that, I worked on my level 80 MSQ, with me trying the last of the questline, but I ended up getting stonewalled by the Estinien solo duty. So for that one I'll just wait until my next day off, when I'll have all night to do it in.
Got The Wanderer's Palace (hard) for the first time, with a final boss that had us actually look the fight up since we kept wiping. Can't remember the last time we had to do that. Usually tanks just charge right in, don't explain nothing, even if there's first-timers there (which, much to my chagrin, a lot of times it isn't needed). Not this time.
