SaturdayShort
Divinity: Original Sin 2 stream today, due to bad sleep (dream/nightmare-filled, it's as though I hadn't slept at all), so I ended up cutting it off after a couple of hours in.
But otherwise, as for the game itself I managed to escape Fort Joy, and am now running around the something or another Marshes (can't remember the name).
But my interest in this game is on the wane right now - especially after finding that a lot of the battles I've been fighting recently are basically unwinnable - so there's a good chance I might start up another game on Sunday. Why (some of this is carryover from
my first time playing this game)?:

So, for my next sessions, unless I change my mind, will be Baldur's Gate 2 again. *sigh*
SundayPlayed
Baldur's Gate 2 this time (see above), and had a good time. Did some quests, leveled up, and made some money (surprisingly without having to steal anything
:O).
MondaySuper light workout this morning, only doing about 10 or so
incline push-ups and about 5-6
chest dips, just enough for a slight burn. My shoulders and right bicep have been sore all week, so I'm trying to take it easy.
Streamed some
FF XIV today. A full session this time. I started off by working on my sammy, running hunts, Fairy beast tribe quests, a leveling roulette, and a trust dungeon (Holminster Switch). And he finally reached level 80!
I forgot to save the in-game achievement, so this will have to do.After that, I started crafting level 70 healer gear, but having to deal with an
Inventory Management Puzzle, due to lack of inventory/retainer space, really drove me up a wall. But eventually I pulled it off, and my scholar is now good to go until level 72.
:)>I also ran my
idle game in the background towards the end of my stream. In fact, for about the last 30 minutes of my stream it was what was on, and not the game itself, as I forgot to switch it off on my
OBS program. Definitely one of the reasons I'm a small-time streamer.
And here's the records I played today:
Mr. Bungle - Self-Titled Debut
Tomita - Snowflakes Are Dancing
The Alan Parsons Project - Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Bill Cosby - 200 M.P.H.
Ted Nugent - Self-Titled Solo Debut
Okey dokey. Time to call it a night
<Take care.> guys, and have a great day/night.

• Quickloading/quicksaving takes too long, about as long as it does to just do a normal save/load. Doesn't make much sense, at least theoretically. Makes me save far less often than I should.
• Playing solo doesn't seem so feasible. Enemies have too many ways to really fuck me over in this game. It's like I have to have a full 4-man party in order to fill the required gaps. Definitely not what I signed up for. -_-, This is especially bad when you factor in.....
• The double cost of abilities, in both action points (refreshes every turn) and Cooldowns (refreshes after several turns). Use one ability, and I can't use it for several turns. If this doesn't kill my enemies in one turn, I'm basically forced to flee, since their retaliation means that I'll be glued and screwed for sure. Abilities should either cost a resource or incur a cooldown, but not both.
